I'm learning to never take even a millisecond of this incredible journey called life for granted!

And to not fritter away precious time on things that don't matter long term.

On my current playlist:

Shayi'moto (hot car) by Scotts Maphumo (of Biri Marung fame)

Isnap - Nkosazana Daughter

TLC - Meant to be🔥

I am still around.  Just a bit more focused on this thing called life.  It's short.  Thanks for the good times.

Italo-disco was something else.

Baltimora - Woody woody boogie

DJ played this at a graduation.  I could not remain seated, in spite of heat wave, and no AC for miles.
Professor - Lento

Si Si Si
Koffi Olomide (feat. Coumba Gawlo)

Perfection in a song.
Congolese music is not my forte, but I love this one.

Hehehehe good memory.
Kazi safi. Can't go wrong with a joint over which Prof's rough vocals are surfing on.
I hadn't put 2 and 2 together before listening to it again today, but it sounds like Big Nuz sampled this beat, this beat, this hot beat I tells ya on their smash hit Serious!🔥

Good thing with growing up in Kenya, we never compartmentalized our music tastes.  So we get to appreciate a wider array of music than some of the same people producing it.

Dolly Parton will be missed.

"But you know I love you" was one of my faves.

Ill Al Scratch - in the Summertime

Hauntingly nostalgic classic 90s NYC tune about my favourite season!

High school + post-high school era memories for me.
