Ndidi game plan is more strategic than Sifuna
« on: September 09, 2026, 12:51:38 AM »

While others are busy with mimi ni Sifuna theatrics of a heckler with online shosho media dead-on-arrival drama, Ndidi Nyoro is quietly positioning himself as the most strategic figure in Kenya’s opposition politics. His play is not about noise — it’s about timing, issues, and reading the ground mood.

Some dismiss him as a spoiler. But spoiler of what? He isn’t pro‑Ruto — he’s firmly in the opposition camp, just like Rigathi. Until April, when the real decision point arrives, Ndidi isn’t spoiling for anybody. His options are clear: back a united opposition bloc if cohesion holds, stage a rehearsal for 2032, or throw support behind Gathietha if he’s cleared and willing.

The raison d’être for Ndidi’s rise is Gathietha himself. His low emotional IQ and insufferable character have left a vacuum. Nobody likes him — not MPs, not governors, not even his own allies. His impeachment by nearly 350 MPs was no accident; it was the culmination of years of harshness and arrogance dating back to his days as a DO in the 1990s. Even when Ruto picked him, he was rejected — four votes against Kindiki’s thirty told the story.

That’s why Ndidi matters. Kikuyus want a safe, credible opposition vehicle. His timing is perfect, and Gathietha won’t have the time to engage him. The ground mood is already shifting.

In the meantime, the smart move is to commit to a joint opposition, sharpen policy critiques, and seize the issues‑based lane. Kibaki in the 1990s proved that “boring economics” can eventually win. Ruto in 2022 demonstrated that Kenya had ushered in a new era of issue-based politics to dress the ugly tribal undercurrents.

Today’s electorate is sharper — they want substance, not just slogans.

Ndidi is positioning himself as that issues‑driven voice. In 2032 he will be front runner for PORK or DPORK

I think Ndindi Nyoro is a stooge, but whether this is true will be lost in the fierce fight ranged against him by DCP.

RiggyG has long painted Kiunjuri's TSP, Moses Kurias's CCK and now Nyoro's PPK as state projects. Nyoro was unable to answer RiggyG until recently - because RiggyG only warned of "a wheelbarrow coming up in Murang'a" - and even now Nyoro can only answer RiggyG's veiled message with "face me directly". But RiggyG will not answer him - he has delegated this to Methu, Thang'wa, Nyutu and DCP crew.

PPK cannot match DCP in resources and political muscle, and Nyoro will be forced to take on Gachagua head-on as has occurred 2 days ago. That, and Itumbi's bloggers, which will only compound his image as a puppet. The more he attacks Gachagua, the more his issue-based modesty wears out. The louder he attacks UDA and Ruto, the more he outs himself as a decoy. As he purports to be one of them, the opposition will ignore him.

It's a battle of wits.

I expect Kang'ata to join the fray when Alice Wahome joins PPK.

We have a battle - your last statement is what matters.
Ndidi is occupying Jubilee spaces...you can call it WANTAM WHO DON'T LIKE RIGATHI.
Uhuru the mlevi has been unable to build and maintain Jubilee
There are many - Ndidi social is everday receiving 20-40 aspiransts.
RIggyG shida yake ni moja - he doesnt have interpresonal skills.
Ndiyo hiyo Kirinyanga he messed up Ngiricis for just shouting - sasa Ngirici is in Ndidi party- it appears now he has almost women issues
Ndiidi should capitalized on that.
I expected UDA folks to move to DCP.
But knowing Gathietha is not one to easily forgive.
They wull go to Ndidi party.

Anyway to be objective Of the 50 kikuyu seats; Gathietha 30; Ndidi 20.

Post Olkalau Gathietha had the game - now Ndidi is undoing it.

Possible but unlikely. We'll see soon enough.
Politics is the art of the possible. [funny this is the mantra in Silicon Valley, with tech swapped for politics]

1. You are underrating RiggyG.
He has spooked your brilliant Ruto - who is now expelling poor Burundi refugees to appease hawkers. Riggy's not genetically defective- it's an act, like Sonko's buffoonery, because he's set on using Mlima to trounce Ruto. When he runs - the bile & toxin will morph into mellow sugar & honey.

2. You are overrating Ndindi Nyoro.
He's allowed 2 years of DCP monopoly. Blunder. Now there are Kang'ata and Senator Nyutu right there at his doorstep. RiggyG doesn't even have to handle him because Nyoro allowed him to mass an army.

What, objectively, has Nyoro done to warrant your praise? I mean besides the 2 weeks old PPK that has you dazzled. Just #1 CDF like PK and a few millions in KPLC stocks.

Take off the goggles.

Ndii will remain relevant as long as
1) Rigathi is impeached and unsure of his run or game. Kikuyus dont like to be KYM of others even if they hate Ruto.
2) Rigathi is a deeply flawed character who is shaking money from aspirants, intimidating and badmouthing opponents.

Yes, DCP is ahead but Ndidi is not zero.

Timing is good. If he started earlier, RiggyG would have killed him with his kitchen sink politics.
Now RiggyG has too much on his plate, esp prepping for messy party nomination.
If RiggyG conducts a free and fair nomination - I'd give him 40mps; Ndidi 10mps;
If RiggyG mess up nomination ; it becomes DCP 30mps; Ndidi 20mps;

Anyway for now Kindiki and Ruto should finance Ndidi vizuri because it keep DCP busy fighting wars at home.

Possible but unlikely. We'll see soon enough.

I don't know how you get the 40-30-10 MP splits. Pure conjecture.

Even the Kibaki vs Matiba parallel is off.
Kibaki and Matiba were peers in age, profiles, achievements, etc. Nyoro is no match for Gachagua.
Nyoro will struggle to clinch 1 or 2 MPs in Murang'a.

The scenarios are different.
Nyoro might try to gaslight Murang'a by reviving the Kibaki betrayal of Matiba. But Riggy has adeptly painted him as the spoiler -- which is brutal.
Amechongewa. 👀

RiggyG's eligibility will feature but different from your expectation. It's a grievance machine - Nyoro's spoiler status will attract fury not favor.

The only real parallel - is that Ruto will get Tharaka Nithi - as Moi did in 1992, 1997. 😊

Ndii will remain relevant as long as

2022 Rigathi, Ndidi and Kindiki were equal
It is why even after Riggy being DPORK: Ndidi refused to recognise.
Rigathi has 2yrs as DPORK
He has definitely tribalized his personal tragedy
But kikuyus and Kenyans just dont love him naturally
Ndidi has always been aware of that.
He knows RiggyG is someone people tolerate but cant love

As long as Ndidi is in opposition and has not said he will run for pork - he aint spoiler.
If he say he will accept United's opp decision - which Gathietha deceptively also claim
He plays safe.

Until April

That is when he shows his hands..back united opp or riggyg or run

Hesabu ni raisi - kikuyus are 50-55mps
I dont think Ndidi and Riggy can get Mps outside there.
Maybe 5-10 in diaspora communities where kikuyus are significant minority
Their parties dcp and ppleare just seen as regional parties.
Big problem Gathietha has is attracting mPs and leaders defending.
Worse case 40% of them come up
Coz they have netowrks and have worked;
So hapo even if it 50 or 60 - 20 mps will be re-elected - because they worked.
Many dont get into riggyg or ruto things - but do cdf kind of jobs

I am asking how do you know "Riggy is not loved"? Ol Kalou just voted 86% - facing up to armed men - with loads of Ruto's cash in their pockets.

Who says RiggyG is not loved? Is there a poll of Mlima with that question?

Share some data. Hii ingine ni Itumbi dry jokes ati Gathietha.

Some things are obvious.
Nobody loves RiggyG as president - as guy to oppose Ruto yes.
All polls show he has 2% national support, and the credible ones I saw he was doing 30% with Ruto 20% in Kikuyu land
And that is because kikuyu dont have an alternative.

Let me try get Mizani poll - they aint releasing national polls.

DCP will win majority of the seats if he conducts free and fair nomination
But already he has scared opponents away like ngirici by his open favouritism
So strong candidates will not take chances with DCP.
They would have gone Jubilee as Uhuru was alternative but Ndidi, Linda, Wiper and etc will be alternative.

2% 😊
I myself have seen worst 4% - but mostly 7 or 9%.

The reason Riggy has low scores for PORK is because he consistently signals he will back Kalonzo/Sifuna/Matiang'i.
It's not a birth defect.
It's why I doubt Nyoro will make headway - cause Riggy backers are already invested in DCP & Kalonzo.

Riggy long tagged Nyoro as not just a spoiler but a Ruto decoy. Wheelbarrow.
There are no DCP backers waiting to switch to Nyoro in April - as you wish - cause Riggy has already managed their expectations.

I know there are polls showing Riggy vs Ruto is a tie in Mlima.
So Ruto was running there with goodies and many stories.
But the Ol Kalou shocker brought Ruto back to his senses.

Bottomline: RiggyG long posturing as kingmaker is strategic -- it's a strength not a weakness. He isn't unable to get backing - he wants it the way it is.

Ngirici the maverick has not joined Ndindi party. That's porojo Hitler is plastering here - misquoting what she said on JK Live.
She's not a whiny flowergirl - she will square it out with Senator Murango. She will clean the floor with him.

If Ngirici learnt anything - by going independent in 2022 - is that the party matters significantly.
She lost by a whisker - 7k votes - to Waiguru - despite her significant popularity.
She made it clear on JK Live she will fight within DCP.

Ndindi BLUNDERED BIG - by allowing Riggy to run 2 years unopposed.
Waiting until Kang'atas have joined DCP to launch.
Now PPK has 1 Kangema MP and 3 MCAs - 2 of them from Kiharu.

But there is a colorful FB page with 000's of nobodies joining PPK. 😊

DCP is a tight ship - it's almost comparable to UDA ground game 2021-22.
Obviously they will run credible primaries - you saw it in Ol Kalou.
Waiguru et al - I expect will decamp at 11th hour - and claim we have listened to the ground. Just like they did in 2022.
Even Wa Mumbi of Mathira will decamp to DCP - Riggy will not chase him - if he clinches the primaries.

You don't have to love Riggy  - to concede he has a good game.

August 24 was pivotal moment for her. After she was kicked, harassed and spat on her face directly with Riggy G blessing, she no longer wear DCP regalia in her campaigns. Check her Facebook page. I think she is just waiting the right time to decouple from DCP, but still hoping to get something from the money she paid. Riggy has endorsed Murango, so it will be a toll order for her to climb. If she doesn't go scorched earth like Waiguru, she may end up number 2 again!

If she's that fickle - she might as well quit politics. It's not for the meek.
2022 she lost because she dumped Ruto claiming he favored  Waiguru.
Literally she removed UDA regalia from her campaign - as you are saying now.
If she had run as independent but still backed Ruto - she might be governor today.

Online, kikuyus bloggers, dcps and stupid media personalities are still propping him up, hoping to dampen Ruto's ever shinning nyota. There is no shortcut in politics. You have to have trillions, spend it on people, build churches, schools, fund kids in college, families, and do everything possible to lift as many people as possible in every village. For 30+ years, Ruto has projects everywhere in Kenya, Wether Rendiles in Laisamis, Kikuyus in Mukurweini, Kalenjin in Mindililwet, Kisiis in Nyasumi village, or Luos in Rodi Kopany etc can see something Ruto build in their local place. It could be a church, school, road, or market, fundraising for a cause etc. Sifuna outside, okuyu propping has nothing to show.
